April Showers Bring May Flowers!!

Week 5 has begun!
Are you taking advantage of the supports available to you??

As always, you can visit the following for support in your learning and language study:

1.   SUMMARY/PARAPHRASE Study Group (levels 4-8)
 Practice the essential skills of Summary and Paraphrase in a small group setting led by your Peer Leaders. 
When: Tuesdays (sched A)
                                             Where: D317 
                                            Time: 12:00-1:30 pm
***Please note:  there is no Thurs workshop due to the Crane-Making workshop in D309 on Thurs.
2.  Games Club
***New and Fun Opportunity to Practice your English and meet new friends.  Join the Games Club to learn English and have fun at the same time.
Led by Marcela, a level 8 student
When:  Tuesdays

3.  Speak Up (levels 4-8) 
Practice conversation and public speaking skills in a relaxed atmosphere and make new friends in the process.

4.  Writing Skills Workshop with Stephen
Improve your planning and writing skills.

Japanese Origami Crane-Building fundraising workshop,
Thurs, April 7th
10am-12pm:  D319
                12:15pm-2:15pm:  D309
Come out and learn how to make origami paper cranes.
Cranes will be used in classes as a fundraiser activity.  All donations will be added to our donation to the Japanese Red Cross relief efforts in Japan.  
Level 6B has already raised an amazing $58 in their class.  Can you match this??
